THE JUNIOR PERFORMANCE PROGRAM AT CARMEL VALLEY RANCH

The Junior Performance Program was specifically designed for local junior golfers from ages 5 to 17 years old who are looking to take their game to the next level and beyond.

Director of Instruction Todd Southard has developed this program so juniors can begin to prepare themselves for competition golf. We will take our philosophy and teach them how to play and compete rather than merely how to swing.

Our junior golfers will learn how to prepare for junior tournaments, junior high and high school golf.

This program will be open to a limited number of juniors and will run for three months at a time. The JPP program will start in March and run thru November.

Here are some of the essential elements we will cover:

Full Swing (Swing Mechanics)
Video analysis
Short game (Chipping, Pitching, Putting, Bunker Play)
Equipment evaluation
Swing drills
Practice technique
Golf psychology
Golf fitness
Course management
How to prepare for tournaments
Roughly 12 hours of instruction each month
