EASTER EGG HUNTS

Join us on Sunday, April 1, for one of our favorite springtime traditions! We'll have three hunts, each featuring candy-filled eggs hidden throughout the Organic Garden and a prize-filled Golden Egg tucked away in a super-secret location. Our littlest "bunnies" ages 4 and under will enjoy their own area to hunt and hop around in. And this year, say hello to our newest furry friends at the Easter Garden Petting Zoo!

JUNIOR PERFORMANCE PROGRAM

The Golf Pros at Carmel Valley Ranch announce a new approach to our Junior Golf Program, based on the philosophy of the Titleist Performance Institute: It’s easier to create a great golfer out of a great athlete. All sessions are held on Saturdays. Cost is on a monthly basis, plus an annual fee of $50 that includes a hat and a shirt.
•    Golf Members - $100 per month
•    River Ranch Members - $140 per month
•    Outside Guests - $160 per month

Level 1 FUN (Grades K–2, 1:00–2:00p) – Our youngest golfers will work on basic golf skills such as grip, stance, and alignment while developing their athleticism.
Level 2 PLAY (Grades 3–5, 2:00–3:15p) – Children will learn how to swing, putt, chip, pitch, and hit bunker shots. We will also help them maintain their athleticism at this age.
Level 3 TRAIN (Grades 6–8, 3:15–4:30p) – The main focus at this level is to help Junior Golfers learn how to practice. We will also work on improving speed and agility.?

HALF-DAY SCHOOL, $375 (10:00a–12:30p) – This program is focused on scoring: full swing, short irons, chipping, and putting.

“STAY AND PLAY” GOLF CLINIC

Inviting all Junior Wranglers, ages 6 to 12! Join us for a fresh take on a Carmel Valley Ranch Classic. Each day includes a structured schedule of educational play, outdoor adventure, and themed programming. Camp is offered Saturdays and Sundays year-round, and daily throughout Spring Break 2018, summer months, and holiday periods. Half-day $105, Full-day $125

SUSTAINABLE WILDCRAFTING

Building on the concept of foraging, wildcrafting is the practice of harvesting potent and unusual plants from their native habitats in a way that maintains the growth and health of the species. Wildcrafting brings us back to the days when our survival depended on protecting the land. Mushrooms, herbs, and other plants have long been sought-after ingredients for both medicine and cuisine. In this class, mycologist and western herbalist Mariah McDonald and wildcrafter Spencer Jones will take you out to explore our secret gardens and hillsides in search of ingredients for creating nourishing food, teas, and tinctures. 90 minutes, $75. Private classes available for $95 per person with a 10-guest minimum.

NOCK, DRAW, LOOSE! ARCHERY AT THE RANCH?

Join us down on the River Lawn to learn the basic techniques behind the ancient sport of archery, using classic recurve bows. Our adult class* (90 minutes, age 12+) focuses on skills and competition. Youth Archery (60 minutes, ages 7-11) includes skill-building exercises and games to keep it fun and engaging. Parents may leave children in our care and return at the end of the session. $50 per person.
* Archery is a serious sport with certain levels of risk, so please arrive before attending Happy Hour!
